I cleared the cache but it had no effect. However, I did try a brand new blank project and the variables worked! Makes me wonder if somehow my project has become corrupt at some level? Another weird thing I tried was:
I had 2 variables in a text caption and I ran the old project. Nothing was displayed. Next I added the word "TEST" to the caption with the variables. That small change caused 1 of the variables to display "company" which wasn't the text I had in the File | Project Info. Weird huh?
Also, I'm using IE9 but switching to Chrome has fixed my issue with carriage returns but I still can't upload a picture. No error this time, just never enables the Insert Image button.
