I have a issue with bookmarking in a Captivate 5.5. training module that is on a LMS system (Clarity's LiMe system, it is SCORM 2004 3rd edition compliant but should run 1.2 SCORM as well)
I created a course with a TOC and allowed backwards movement to previously viewed slides only. When the course is completed in one sitting/session it bookmarks properly and the checkmarks appear in the TOC to show which sections have been completed, allows you to return to the slide for review and the course moves to complete.
However, when you leave the course and have to relaunch it to complete the module the checkmarks in the TOC disappear and you are unable to go back and review the previously completed sections. The bookmarking worked in the sense that the course does open to the last page that you were on and will move to complete but the visual checkmarks are gone.
I contacted Adobe help and was told that this is a common issue with Captivate because the TOC resets upon relaunch but they were unable to provide any suggestions and are looking into a solution.
I have a deadline of today to get this course live. Has anyone encountered this issue before? What was your solution or work around.
