In my experience, people assigned to the "LMS team" rarely have any real knowledge of SCORM or e-learning technologies. There's usually an IT techie dude somewhere in the works whose job is just to make sure the LMS server doesn't crash (or restart it if it does). But apart from him, most of the other people involved are likely to be just "admins" who maintain the list of users and may load courses. None of these people usually create e-learning for a living. That's why they don't know what you need to know.
If your SCORM courses were just showing a blank screen, that could be any number of issues. But somewhere in the LMS files there should be a log file that says what's going on. Your IT techie should be able to find that and take a look at its output as you try to load a course.
If not, try loading the same SCORM package into SCORM Cloud LMS online. Its free, and has good error messages to tell you if anything is amiss.
