Thanks for the quick reply :-) Flashcard work by student seeing a rectangular representation of a question.
In my case they would see something like 8+4= . Then they would press something for the answer. If they got it right, the fact would not appear again. If they got it wrong it would reappear in the stack following the rest of the set of question.
Randomness in question order is also nice.
