Re: Radio button widget

Will try to explain as I understand it (some call me the Captivate Advanced Actions Queen).

 

Contrary to other programming languages, Captivate doesn't know the difference between strings (text) or numbers. It is really all text. But a space or empty or 0 are considered as the same value.


If text has only one word, in the advanced actions dialog you'll just see that word. But if the text has more words, Cp has to remember that all those words are the value of one variables, and encloses the text automatically between ". BTW in most programming languages strings are enclosed between "/

 

Normally this shouldn't spoil your actions. Think the reason will be elsewhere. Could you post screenshots of the actions?
