I am looking to use some HTML5 Widgets in my Captivate courses. I have existing Widgets that I made in Flash that I am trying to use as well as some of the default ones that come with Captivate 7. In either case I am unable to get any of the Widgets to work in HTML5. I have been following this page as a guide - http://helpx.adobe.com/captivate/using/create-wdgt-files.html however it leaves much to be desired in the clarity department. When publishing a course, in the publish settings, if I select "HTML5" only - the Widgets don't show up in the HTML5 output. However, if I also check SWF, then the Widget is is displayed (as expected) as the HTML file is using an embedded SWF for the content and widget - HTML5 only content still however doesn't display the Widget.
Does anyone have a working HTML5 widget they can share or can provide more specific instructions than Adobe does in the above referenced site?
Thanks, in advance!
