Re: Captivate 7 error on launch

Are you on a corporate network by any chance?  If so, are they using roaming profiles or virtual My Documents folders?  If so, that might be the cause of your issue. Captivate is known to crash under such setups.

 

If none of the above applies, you may need to phone Adobe Support about this one.  There is an issue sometimes with corrupted fonts that can cause Captivate to crash either on install or when launched after install.  The way to test for it and resolve it is a bit convoluted and involves removing all your current fonts and reinstalling them again until you find the offending one.
