That was actually really helpful, thanks RodWard! I've since moved back into the file and changed every single quality of the jpeg files that I have imported, since I realized it's not the videos that make the complete SWF movie so long. I actually experimented after reading your comment and published the whole thing without any videos. The SWF file was still arould 67MB, so I figured it was all those jpegs, audio files, and animations INSIDE the module. I reduced the quality, did some more research, made sure the audio files were all mp3s, and voila, the file shrunk to about 47MB. Much better. Now I'm trying to figure out the preload option, but it's not working for me. I've read some very helpful articles about th problems with the preload option. It seems like everything has to be juuuust righ for it to fully work, especially with audio on the slides.
