Hi again Lilybiri, I don't have a next button as I am using one of the new funky widget playbars so was hoping to rely on this for navigation without extra work. Maybe they are not quite the time saver they seem if you are not looking for linear slides. I watched your video (thanx) and tried again with advanced actions, and added an extra action to disable each button, however when you come back to the screen it remains as it is when you left it. So I wrote a script to re-enable each button and to hide each text and put it on slide enter and slide exit. Phew! what a lot of steps for so little. I think my ideal, as you say at the end of the video, would have been for the buttons to toggle on and off but that sounds like even more work. Hmm, it sounds as if what I am trying to do should be simple but maybe I am trying to make Captivate do something it is not designed to do?
