Thanks for helping. The "edit" tab option did not fix the problem but i have discovered something else. when i click import audio Captivate used to take me to the Gallery here C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 x64\Gallery\Sound so I could select the sound I wanted. However, it is now directing me to another location in windows file manager - under My Music. I tried importing again by manually selecting the correct file path, I opened an adobe audio file and clicked import but the buttons are still not showing. should I uninstall and reinstall stuff and, if so, what? everything?
