Hi,

Flash player plug in is required to view the .swf in a web browser. But Flash player is not compatible on iOS, it means flash plug in cannot be installed on I-pad or I-phone, so I-pad and I-phone won't play .swf

If you have published your content in HTML 5, then you do not need Flash player at all, but HTML 5 is supported on Latest browsers:

HTML5 output is supported only on iPads with OS version 5 or later.

HTML5 output is supported only on the following browsers:

Internet Explorer 9 or later

Safari 5.1 or later

Google Chrome 17 or later

The output published (.swf or HTML5) by Captivate 6 is not tested on JW player or any other player or plug in.
