OK. These look OK. Forgive me for checking up on you but I sometimes find that users are not aware that their company may be hijacking their My Documents folder and placing it on a server. But your Default Locations show everything is on the C drive. So that cannot be the issue.
The only times I've seen a pausing issue like yours is:
- When Captivate is waiting for something from the server because at some time you were working on projects stored there, or saving projects to the server. Captivate tries to connect with these same locations each time you start it up.
- If your Preferences have become corrupted. In which case you will need to rename or delete your Preferences folder.
