Are you sure these issues are due to the file being created in a 32 bit version of Captivate? I have work computer running 32 bit Cp on WinXP and a home computer running 64bit Cp on Win7 and I don't see these issues.
Could you try changing your slide quality to High 24 bit or Optimized to get rid of the red patches, and then try using the Publish dialog option to Force Republish All Slides to see if that resolves some of your publishing issues?
