I do use Lynda.com regularly, but... those are 'only' videos. Being a teacher since many years, I'm not so convinced that videos are the best way to train for software. When I started using Captivate to offer learning assets, have asked my students for feedback since I offered them both demo (pure video), interactive software trainings and assessments simulations for self-tests. And after a while I realized that the demos were less and less used, they jumped right away in the trainings and some even in the assessments. Interactivity is what makes Captivate special! Maybe your trainees have different requirements, attitude? Mine were college students ( 20-24 years). Camtasia allows you to make great videos, used it when creating small JIT explanations, to send by mail as answer to questions. Now I'm doing those with HD Video Demo, easier to integrate into a normal cptx-project.
This is my personal opinion of course,
