There is a Zoom interaction that has much better quality as a result.
If you want to stay with the normal Zoom object, replace the zoomed out object by a good quality image - use a graphical editor like Photoshop to have acceptable quality. You find the possibility to browse to an image with the browser icon in the Fill... accordion for the Zoom destination.
