Hello Sunny ,
Thank you for sharing this information becasue when you add pretest questions the Progress bar, Play , Rewind , Forward Back button gets disabled .
and this will also disable the branch aware option .
If you want to edit those buttons please add normal question slides instead of Pretest quiz.
