Select the quiz question slide in your filmstrip, go to Quiz Properties tab > Options and tick the box for Success caption. On the same tab > Actions accordian, set Failure level to at least one so that you get a Failure caption.
These will look like ordinary text captions. Just adjust the text in the caption to explain as necessary.
