Hmmm, I took a course on gamification, and they explained that it doesn't mean to include games, but include functionality that make games addictive. That kind of functionality is certainly possible with Captivate and even more if you use a LMS. But that is not the discussion.
If you are talking about games, Captivate 6/7 has some interactions that can perhaps be considered as means for gamification. And with advanced actions, variables and widgets even more is possible.
