I asked the original question very poorly. My sincere apologies. Frustration.
I have watched the beginner videos and more, gone through several tutorials, and bought a detailed ebook. I posted another thread that was more specific, because I didn't see a way to reply here. DUMB.
I can edit and change most kinds of slides, but the question slides are baffling me. They seem to revert to their original format or ignore my changes. They seem super-attached to their original positions. I'm attaching a pic of the simple layout that I can't seem to achieve.
I can't have the two words underneath each other, because these kids are failed readers. They need separation between the two choices horizontally. I can't make it happen! Obviously I am missing something very basic on the question slide issue.
I've been using multiple choice, but have ideas on using others to reinforce. I thought I ought to try to master one before moving on. Sorry to have been so unclear and wasted your time.
