External Audio Files

I recently recorded a number of wav audio files using a third party program. Since they will all be going into my Captivate 6 module, I am concerned they will substantially increase the size (memory) of the module. Is there any way to keep the audio files in a separate folder and access them externally from Captivate, thus keeping the module size smaller?
