Try to use JPEG for the screenshots, had problems with PNG again (they worked a while). You have to use the small still camera icon in the browser version of this forum to insert them in a post. Reading just text is way to complicated. BTW can you check out my blog post about the template?
It seems that you have way too much objects since you are using CP6: why do you put a click box on top of an image when this image could fill a smart shape that you can use as a button? And your colleague told that it were buttons, now you are again talking about click boxes??? The 'translucent' shapes are probably to grey out the 'image' or button? And if I understand well, you are changing visibility of objects on the dashboard slide with an action that is executed on another slide (can work, but have a lot of experience with advanced actions, and I should do this with the On Enter action of the dashboard slide really).
But all these remarks do not explain why only one of the click boxes is functional the first time. That must have another cause. Trouble with those advanced actions questions is that understanding, seeing everything is almost impossible, certainly with only text. What is the sense of combining the condition "1 is equal to 1" which isn't a condition at all, has no sense whatsoever except when used alone to simulate a standard action in a decision of a conditional action. I have seen this same happen a couple of weeks ago, and do not understand where that strange thing was picked up, start to suspect someone is teaching advanced conditional actions in that weird way????
varButtonx are user variables with a starting value of 0 (default when defining them)? The conditional action that you describe for the end of section button is in reality a standard action, why do you make that a conditional action??? It should simply be:
Assign varButtonx with 1
Jump to slide 1
Show Checkx
Show Coverx
I do not understand the significance of the second variable varEndofSectionButton ??? What is it used for? You do not have a condition that uses it, and the other variable varButtonx never gets a value?
I need to see the actions, or have access to the file. Think something is really wrong.
