Yes, you are right. I usually go for Cache when there are issues related to performance of application. Such inconsistencies, can either be corrected by trying to reset the workspace or preferences, if one has verified all other basic possibilities. I did not mentioned Restarting Captivate as people usually try it out (in most cases reboot too).

 

I have seen other users with the same problem but not all, I myself install it on various environment while testing and never ever encountered this problem.
