It seems you are using Captivate 6.

Also try the below steps to recreate the preferences and try again to insert the interaction:

Close Adobe Captivate.

•   Locate the preferences folder:  

   

  • Windows Vista and Windows 7: C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 folder  
  • Windows XP:  C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 folder 
  • Mac:  /Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Captivate 6 folder

•   Rename the Adobe Captivate 6 folder.

•   Restart Adobe Captivate. A new configuration folder is automatically created.

Now try to insert the interaction again.
