I've been trying to work out why our very basic course (no widgets, no animation and only 5mb) is failing to load within a reasonable time on our client's instance of Moodle which is v1.9. We have tested on Moodle v2.3 and it is fine.
Basically when the course is launched on the LMS, the frame where the course will load displays as grey and nothing happens from between 30 and 200 seconds.
The basic swf pre-loader is not even displayed during this time so as you can imagine users will think the course isn't loading and walk away. Our client is not accepting the modules in this state. Other courses (not Captivate) on their LMS are running fine and fast.
We have stripped out everything possible. Have tried publishing at SCORM 1.2, 2004 and even AICC - no luck.
When we upload to the LMS (mind you we have 10 modules and all are doing this), we get the following notes:
- InIsLoaded is returning false
- CP-Can make calls to driver - false
- CP-RecdEI call:Start "initialised_bln"
- CP:Running instance of API not detected in EI handler. Ignoring call.
We are using Captivate 6.0.1.240 and have never had this problem before. Is there an issue with the latest build?
Please advise as we have lost over 16 hrs trying to fix this.
