Re: Full Motion Recording Missing in Captivate 6

Just want to add this: FMR still exists in CP6. If you are capturing in Automatic mode, FMR-slides will be inserted when necessary (like for mouse scrolling). The settings for Video Demo (like 16-bit or 32-bit) will be used for those FMR-slides. They will have exactly the same look in the Timeline as the Video Demo Recording slides.

But I'm a bit worried about '...without Full Motion Recording, my recordings are broken....' because I think you are misunderstanding there. It is not because the recording is done on static slides, that the experience for the user will be looking like 'broken in segments' at all. This work flow has mostly advantages: editing is much easier than for pure video (FMR) recordings and the file size will be smaller. When published the learner will not be aware of those segments in most cases.

Varun, to start recording within a cptx, you have to use the option Insert, Recording Slide, Video Demo. Video Demo slides have a much better quality than the old FMR-slides, and more editing possibilities with the Video Demo editor.
