I'm trying to output a software demo/training course and there are several issues that I cannot seem to resolve.
First, when I published it initially, the output course (in both .exe and .swf versions) got about 3/4 thru and then arrived at one frame and went to black and stopped. If I used the table of contents to bypass that specific frame, the next few frames behind it had elements that flashed on/off - those elements were either master slide elements and/or items like highlights, text, or smart objects. In some cases, they flashed in red first.
After reviewing the forum, I went back and tried the 'force publish all slides' and turning off compression settings, to name a few and republished. The black screen and flashing seems to be gone, however now the sequencing for the demo on the slides is off. The highlights for the next appearing frame in the demo appear, as does the narration, but the underlying screen captured in the demo does not, or it appears just before the following frame appears.

In this example (image), the screen is a faded image - this may be because I have a fade transition in place for the next slide which is not part of the demo, however that doesn't explain the problem with the following:

This example (image 2) shows the sequence playing the animations and narration and the image from the demo is "stuck" on the preceding section, rather than appearing in place with the frame where it should be appearing (on the right). This is not a question of a fade transition.
Note that I have not changed the Flash Player to version 11 because the audience may be limited to version 10; however this is a moot point as the same issue appears in the .exe version as well.
What can be done to resolve this? Obviously, I've committed alot of effort to this project and do not wish to have to re-record or start from scratch.
Additional note: I see that this corruption now involves the actual file. What I see onscreen in Captivate is what I want to see; when I play it in Captivate I see what I don't want to see.
