In this case I think you might need to take the following approach. After you have your audio finalized, play it from Audacity or Windows Media Player or other so you can hear it. Then prepare to record the video as you listen to the audio play. After you record the video bit, you can then add the audio clip to the video. I might suggest some indicator that would assist you with matching up the audio more easily.
