Thanks for replying. Please try this:

1) Close Captivate.

2) For Windows XP:

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\[User Account]\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe and rename Captivate 6.0 to OLDCaptivate 6.0

For Windows 7:

Go to C:\Users\[User Account]\AppData\Local\Adobe and rename Captivate 6.0 to OLDCaptivate 6.0 and Captivate 6.0 x64 to OLDCaptivate 6.0 x64

For MAC:

Go to Finder > Go > Go to folder > TYPE: /Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/Adobe/ and rename Adobe Captivate 6 to OLDAdobe Captivate 6

Then launch Captivate and check the status with the smart shapes.

Please let me know the status.
